What happens after I’ve placed my order?

Firstly, if you’ve placed an order with us then thank you and welcome!

The next steps will be for a member of the team to reach out to you to set-up a call and confirm your order and ask some clarifying questions. The number of questions will depend on how detailed you’ve described your issue during the order process. Once we done this we’ll confirm next steps with you during the call.

My site is out of date. Will you fix this for me during onboarding?

Absolutely. During onboarding we’ll conduct an audit of the software you’re currently using. This includes Wordpress, PHP and all of the plugins. If there are any that are out of date, we’ll update these for you as part of the onboarding process.


How will onboarding work?

Don’t worry, we’ve done this a few times and we’ve got you covered.

What logins do I need to provide?

We require your current web hosting and WordPress admin logins. We can help you gather them if you do not know them. Alternatively you can put us in touch with your web developer or previous maintenance agency.


How do I share my login details with you?

Typically we will provide you with some credentials for you to create an admin user which will give us the access we need. We prefer this approach rather than asking you to share your own credentials. In this way you are still in control. Don’t worry if you don’t know how to do this. We can provide you with some instructions or walk you through it on a call.


Will my site be backed up?

Yes. Backups will be set up once you’re onboarded. The frequency and timing of backups will be decided once we’ve discussed how often you update content on your site and how busy your site is.


How do I request tasks from you?

This will be dependant on the type of plan you buy from us. For one off plans, you’re making your request at the same time as placing your order. For monthly plans, we will give you access to your own portal where you will be able to submit requests and track their delivery.

Can I request multiple multiple tasks at the same time?

You can ask for as many tasks as you want. The more the better from our point of view. If you do want to do do this we will take a look at all of them to see if we can deliver them more efficiently. Our view is that a task should take more than a few hours to fix, test and deploy and so if you have submitted several tasks at the same time we may look to delivering couple of them as a single task.


How many tasks will I need to complete piece of work?

Can I ask you to design and build me a website?

For clarity, we are not a full service web agency. We are here to fix problems and do this incredibly efficiently. We always happy to have a conversation but the answer may be no. If it is no, we have a great network of agencies we’ve work with before and we’d be happy to put you in touch with one of them.
